The Brigham Research Institute (BRI) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital will host a symposium on “The Immune System Awakens: The Force Behind Allergies” highlighting the science behind allergies to food, medication, and the environment. Speakers include: Andrew Macginnitie, MD, PhD, Juan Cardet, MD, Paige Wickner, MD and Duane Wesemann, MD, PhD. Join us to learn more from experts in one of the leading healthcare fields and hear about how the science of today will impact patient care in the future.
This event will coincide with the MIT Cambridge Science Festival, a celebration showcasing the leading edge in science, technology, engineering and math. Held every spring, the Cambridge Science Festival makes science accessible, interactive and fun for people of all ages.

The Bornstein Family Amphitheater is located on the Pike at 45 Francis Street. Upon entering the building at the street level, walk straight towards the hallway (The Pike) and take a left. Bornstein is located on your right.

Entering 75 Francis Street (main hospital entrance), take the escalator up and take a right. Walk past the gift shops and keep right. Walk down the hallway (The Pike) about half way until you see another lobby on your right which is 45 Francis Street, Cabot Atrium.
