The word “immunotherapy” is on the cover of major newspapers and magazines, everyone is talking about it! President Jimmy Carter’s advanced melanoma was controlled and prevented from spreading to his brain through the use of an experimental cancer immunotherapy drug that so effective that the trial was halted and the FDA approved it for use in more patients! But what is immunotherapy? And how does it work?
