Please join us for lunch as Joel S. Weissman, PhD, Deputy Director and Chief Scientific Officer of the Center for Surgery and Public Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Associate Professor of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School, discusses the ethical challenges that can arise when patients become partners in patient-centered outcomes research. Dr. Weissman is currently the PI on two active PCORI grants and can offer practical advice on how to assemble a competitive LOI or full application to the institute.
