The Brigham Research Institute is sponsoring a BWH Cores and Resources Fair in April 27th, 2020. It will feature many core facilities, provide an opportunity for the BWH research community to learn more about resources available to them, and act as a collaborative forum where the cores can connect with researchers. This event is open to the entire BWH community. All researchers and research support staff who are interested in learning more about the prolific BWH and Partners core facilities are encouraged to attend.
We are currently soliciting representatives from the BWH and Partners cores and resources who would be interested in attending and staffing an informational table with brochures, business cards, or other materials helpful to the community. Please signup online to participate here. We will be extending the time of our standard Research Connection (RC) Live Lunch from 12:00 – 1:30 PM and preference will be given to cores that register early due to limited space in the Hale Café Atrium.
The BRI is going bottled-water free! As it has been stated “more than 17 million barrels of oil are required to produce enough plastic water bottles to meet America’s annual demand for bottled water” and every year, 8 million metric tons of plastics enter our ocean. We hope as an institution and department to become more environmentally friendly. We encourage other departments to do the same! Please don’t forget to bring your filled reusable water bottles to all of our BRI events. Thank you.
