Analysis of UK Biobank reveals the similarities and differences in genetic architecture across males and females

Benjamin Neale, PhD

Dr. Benjamin Neale is an associate professor in the Analytic and Translational Genetics Unit at MGH, where he directs the Genomics of Public Health Initiative. He is also an associate professor in medicine at HMS and an institute member at the Broad Institute. His research focuses on the genetics of psychiatric disorders and on developing new methods for studying complex human traits. His 2019 study on genetic influences on human sexual behavior received wide media coverage, and he recently co-authored an op-ed in the Washington Post calling for research on the genetic basis of susceptibility to covid-19.
